Q. Tell us about your business, including the types of services and/or products you feature.
A. We provide in-home repair on major kitchen and laundry appliances. We also sell parts over the counter for the do-it-yourselfer.
Q. What makes your business unique?
A. Besides the antiques on our showroom floor? Well, it has to be our honest, friendly service. A friendly voice on the phone, a friendly face at your door. Honest advice if you can fix it yourself, we'll try to help. No gimmicks, hidden costs (there is no such thing as a "free" service call). Excellent service at a fair price.
Q. How did you first decide to open your own business?
A. I had been providing in-home service to customers for another local service company for many years. The company had many return customers request MY service when they called. So I decided to branch out on my own and provide customers the type of service experience they were seeking. That was 16 years ago.
Q. How did you decide to locate in the Redford community?
A. I lived in Redford and started the business out of my home in 1992. In 1997 I purchased a store front on Grand River and have since moved over onto Beech Daly. I have lived here nearly 20 years now. I enjoy the "small town" feel of Redford. |
